 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Q Where does my donation go?
A The mission of MMI is to bring health, healing, and hope to the neediest people throughout the world. We fulfil this mission through various programmes and through MMI MedNet, an effective, proven concept in global care. Recent healthcare initiatives have been implemented in Angola, Zimbabwe, and the Philippines. Through the ongoing support of our generous donors Medical Mission International has been saving lives in some of the poorest, most desperate countries in the world.

For a more detailed description of what we do and where we go please see our Projects.

Q Do you provide annual programme reports?
A Medical Mission International does provide an annual programme report detailing how your donation was used to fight sickness and disease in suffering children and their families around the world. Click here to view our most recent report.

Q How much of my donation goes on fundraising and administrative costs?
A MMI is committed to using all of our resources, including monetary, where they’re needed most. Every donation we receive is treated with the utmost thoughtfulness and care. We do spend money on fundraising, but the amount is comparatively small. Making people aware of the desperate plight of those we serve is vital to our core mission of offering Health, Healing, and Hope. We couldn’t provide these lifesaving programmes without the kindness and generosity of people like you, and we thank you again for your support.

 Mail

Q How did your organization get my name?
A MMI finds the names of our prospective donors through various means. Perhaps you have given to us in the past. You may have given to a charity similar to ours. MMI, like many charities, sometimes acquires the names of prospective donors through mailing lists which we rent from other charities.

Please advise us at any time if you do not wish to receive further mailings from Medical Mission International or the organizations with whom we cooperate, by writing to: 1-4 Archers Court (Suite C, first floor) 48 Masons Hill, Bromley, Kent BR2 9JG.

Q How can I stop receiving duplicate mailings?
A It is not our intention to send you extra copies of our mailings. It’s possible that your name was inadvertently entered into our database multiple times, or we may have several spellings of your name. Please email us or send us a letter telling us exactly how your name appears on both mailings, and we will correct it.

Q How do I advise you of a change in address?
A If you need us to make changes in your name and/or address there are several ways you can do this. You can send us your changes via email by using the Contact link. Alternately, you may send us your changes through the post. Simply cross out the outdated information on the mailing label (located on the return envelope that you use to send us your donation) and write in your updated status.

Q How can I get my name taken off your mailing list?
A If you no longer wish to be contacted by MMI, please complete this form (link to form) requesting to be removed from our mailing list, and we will do so as soon as possible. You can also use the reply card from our mailing package. Simply write on the card “Please remove me from your mailing list” and then send it back to us via post. Please be advised that it may take up to 13 weeks until you stop receiving all mail as our mailings are prepared several weeks in advance in order to minimize costs.

Q How can I get more of the free gift you recently sent me in the mail?
A We’re so glad you enjoyed your appreciation gift from Medical Mission International. Unfortunately, we only purchase enough of these gifts to send one to each of our donors. From time to time, we do have a few items returned to our office, and we would be glad to send you one if it is possible. Feel free to contact our office if you have specific questions.

 VOLUNTEER

Q Can I volunteer for a medical mission trip with MMI?
AThank you for you interest in helping hurting people, but we do not have any volunteer opportunities available at this time.
