Our Principles

MMI provides aid by strengthening local community charities, services, and healthcare providers.  This is accomplished by:

 

  • Working with local leadership to support indigenous structures
  • Assisting existing programmes first, before helping to create new ones
  • Supporting sustainable local efforts
  • Giving short-term aid that meets strategic needs through voluntary alliance
  • Including education and training aid whenever possible
  • Simplifying reporting while maintaining strong accountability
