Include MMI in your Will
Many people want to remember needy children in their wills but don’t know how. Well, we want to make it easy for you. Use The Wills Site to remember the suffering and needy in your Will. These bequests often mean the difference between life and death for needy children.
Did you know?
- Unsanitary water supplies, poor hygiene, civil war and malnutrition facilitate the deadly spread of preventable diseases.
- Research shows that infectious diseases can be contained and eradicated through the following methods:
• Creating safe sanitation facilities and teaching better hygiene practices.
• Installation of clean community and household water sources.
- Cost-effective ways to improve the health of the world’s neediest children:
• Maintain free, lifesaving medical programmes and rescue efforts.
• Provide affordable antiretroviral medications.
• Teach steps to build overall health and nutrition for strong, healthy bodies that will be more resistant to infectious diseases and the effects of malnutrition.
- Eliminating children’s suffering from hunger, disease and homelessness is MMI’s greatest concern today. In the Congo, our programmes are rescuing homeless children and reintroducing them to their long lost families as well as keeping street children safe from predators, violence and exploitation.
- Did you know that every year at least six million children die from malnutrition around the world?
- Did you know that the health complications arising from malnutrition are often deadlier to a young child than their hunger? Our biggest challenge is reaching the children before these major complications occur.
